Dr. Jennifer Nelson currently serves as Executive Vice President, International where she directs IQT’s overseas investment activities as well as the expansion of global footprint in support of the IQT’s mission of identifying, evaluating, and leveraging emerging commercial technologies for the National Security Community and its allies. Over her sixteen years at IQT, Dr. Nelson has held a variety of roles including the position of Chief of Staff, where she led strategic prioritization and alignment across the executive team, and as Senior Vice President where she oversaw technology transfer from IQT’s Portfolio to the US Government. Prior to joining IQT in 2009, Dr. Nelson worked at IBM Corporation, where she supported the public sector with technology strategy development. Dr. Nelson holds bachelor’s degrees in both Finance and Management, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Polytechnic and State University, and a doctoral degree from Vanderbilt University.
