Mr. Salm is the CEO of Frankenburg Technologies, a producer of affordable, mass-manufacturable missile systems. He is also a member of the board of the NATO Innovation Fund (NIF). Previously, he served as Permanent Secretary of the Estonian Ministry of Defence, overseeing capability development, defence policy, acquisitions, and human resources. Before that, he was Director General of the Estonian Centre for Defence Investment, responsible for acquisitions and infrastructure for the Estonian Defence Forces. Internationally, he was the chief negotiator for the European Defence Fund in 2017.
