Tom Whipple

Tom Whipple is the science editor at The Times. He has a mathematics degree, and before working for The Times he worked for DSTL. In the course of his job he has interviewed Stephen Hawking, Jimmy Carter, Bill Gates and Jedward. He was named science journalist of the year for his coverage of the covid pandemic.
