Dawn Bedlivy

Ms. Dawn V. Bedlivy, Esq. serves as the Chief, Office of Innovation in the National Security Agency's Research Directorate. In this role, Bedlivy leads the Agency's efforts to catalyze NSA's transformation into an Agency that can rapidly adapt to unforeseen challenges and opportunities while efficiently executing current mission demands. Bedlivy is capitalizing upon her years of experience as an innovator, attorney, and conflict resolution professional to oversee and guide the Agency's innovation ecosystem. Bedlivy's prior roles include serving as the Senior Integration Lead for Leadership and Corporate Skills where she ensured that the agency's leadership and corporate skills training is current and cutting edge.


Prior to her current role, Bedlivy served as an Administrative Law attorney in the NSA Office of General Counsel from 2001-2009 where she advised on a diversity of human resources and EEO issues. Bedlivy began her federal government career in 1997 as a personnel attorney with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). Bedlivy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Rutgers College, Rutgers University, and a Juris Doctor from the Rutgers University School of Law-Camden. Bedlivy is a member of both the New Jersey and New York state bars.
